Bio plex pro mouse cytokine th1 th2 assay biorad mouse multi cytokine detection system

Serum cytokine profiling was performed using a commercially available multiplexed kit: Bio-Plex Pro™ Mouse Cytokine Th1/Th2 Assay (Biorad Mouse Multi-Cytokine Detection System; Biorad Laboratories, Hyderabad, India). In brief, the serum was diluted in a 1:5 ratio and simultaneously measured for the levels of eight cytokines: IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-10, IL-12 (p70), GMCSF, TNF-α (tumor necrosis factor-alpha), and INF-γ (interferon-gamma) as per the manufacturer’s protocol (Bio-Rad, Hyderabad, India). Cytokine concentrations were quantified using Bioplex protein array system (Bio-rad, Hyderabad, India) following the manufacturer’s instruction. The assay sensitivity was less than 10 pg/mL and ranged from 0.2 to 32,000 pg/mL with inter and intra assay cumulative value (CV) of less than 10% [21 (link)].
