Bio plex pro mouse cytokine th1 th2 assay biorad mouse multi cytokine detection system

Manufactured by Bio-Rad
Sourced in India

The Bio-Plex Pro™ Mouse Cytokine Th1/Th2 Assay is a multiplex assay system designed to detect and quantify multiple mouse cytokines simultaneously. The assay allows for the measurement of Th1 and Th2 cytokines in a single well using magnetic beads coated with specific antibodies.

Serum Cytokine Profiling with Bio-Plex Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Serum cytokine profiling was performed using a commercially available multiplexed kit: Bio-Plex Pro™ Mouse Cytokine Th1/Th2 Assay (Biorad Mouse Multi-Cytokine Detection System; Biorad Laboratories, Hyderabad, India). In brief, the serum was diluted in a 1:5 ratio and simultaneously measured for the levels of eight cytokines: IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-10, IL-12 (p70), GMCSF, TNF-α (tumor necrosis factor-alpha), and INF-γ (interferon-gamma) as per the manufacturer’s protocol (Bio-Rad, Hyderabad, India). Cytokine concentrations were quantified using Bioplex protein array system (Bio-rad, Hyderabad, India) following the manufacturer’s instruction. The assay sensitivity was less than 10 pg/mL and ranged from 0.2 to 32,000 pg/mL with inter and intra assay cumulative value (CV) of less than 10% [21 (link)].

The serum cytokine profiling was performed using a commercially available multiplexed kit, Bio-Plex Pro™ Mouse cytokine Th1/Th2 Assay (Bio-Rad Mouse Multi-Cytokine Detection System; Bio-Rad Laboratories, India). The cytokines assay was performed to measure IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-10, IL-12 (p70), GM-CSF, TNF-α and INF-γ using commercially available Bio-Rad kit. In brief, the mouse serum collected was diluted to 1:5 and processed as per the manufacturer’s protocol. Cytokine concentrations were quantified using Bioplex protein array system (Bio-Rad) following the manufacturer’s instructions. The assay sensitivity was less than 10 pg/ml and ranged from 0.2 to 32000 pg/ml with an inter- and intra-assay CV of less than 10% [18 (link)].

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
