Calcium chloride cacl2

Manufactured by Fujifilm
Sourced in Japan

Calcium chloride (CaCl2) is a chemical compound commonly used in laboratory settings. It is a white, crystalline solid that is highly soluble in water. Calcium chloride's core function is to act as a desiccant, or drying agent, due to its ability to absorb moisture from the surrounding environment.

Stoichiometric hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2, Ca/P = 1.68, ST-HAP) and Ca-deficient hydroxyapatite (Ca10−x(HPO4)x(PO4)6−x(OH)2−x, Ca/P = 1.38, DEF-HAP) were supplied by Taihei Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd., Japan. ST-HAP was synthesized by mixing calcium hydroxide and phosphoric acid solutions40 , 41 . The precipitate was dried at 100 °C. DEF-HAP was synthesized by mixing slurries of calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate with an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide31 (link), 41 . The precipitate was dried at 150 °C. Strontium chloride (SrCl2), magnesium chloride (MgCl2), and calcium chloride (CaCl2) were purchased from Wako Pure Chemical Industries Co., Ltd., Japan. Sr standard solutions (1 mg/mL) for ICP-MS (PerkinElmer Japan Co., Ltd., United States) were also purchased from Wako Pure Chemical Industries. All materials were used without further purification.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
