Pudding Formulation Using Plant-Based Milks

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
All ingredients used for pudding preparation were commercial products procured from a local supermarket in Istanbul, Türkiye. Eight different types of commercially available UHT plant‐based milks (low‐fat (1.5%) and whole‐fat (3%) cow's milk, almond, oat, Antep pistachio, coconut, soya, and hazelnut plant‐based milks) were used, and all puddings contained rice flour and sugar. The chemicals used in this study, including sodium hydroxide (NaOH), boric acid (H3BO3), sulfuric acid (H2SO4), copper (II) sulfate (CuSO4.5H2O), potassium sulfate (K2SO4), methyl red, brom cresol green, ethyl alcohol, and petroleum ether, were of analytical grade and were obtained from Merck Chemicals (Darmstadt, Germany).

Antimicrobial Evaluation of Enteric Pathogens

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Ingredients used in this research included an antagonistic test on enteric pathogen microbe used in MRSB/de MRS Broth (Oxoid) media, nutrient agar media (NA and Oxoid), and nutrient broth (NB and Oxoid). Media used in the survival test on acidity were MRSB (Oxoid), MRSA (Oxoid), 0.85% of sterile NaCl, as well as HCl. Media used in the bile salts test were MRSB (Oxoid), MRSA (Oxoid), 0.85% of sterile NaCl, as well as ox gall 0.3% (Oxoid). Media used to test crude protein proximate analysis were Tablet Kjeldhal (Merck), H2SO4 (Merck), NaOH 40% (Merck), boric acid (Merck), methyl red (Merck) indicator, Brom cresol green (Merck), H2SO4 0.01 N (Merck), and Aquadest.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
