SLAMF3 Overexpression in Huh-7 Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Transfection of SLAMF3 was performed with pBud-SLAMF3 plasmid in Huh-7 cells, as previously described by Marcq et al. [17 (link)]. Transfection with empty pBud plasmid served as a negative control. For SLAMF3 ectopic expression, 2 × 105 of Huh-7 Ctrl or Res cells were first seeded into six-well plates for 24 h prior to transfection. Cells were transfected with 0.8 μg of plasmid DNA using the FuGENE HD Transfection Reagent Kit (Promega, Charbonnières-les-bains, France) according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and were incubated for 48 h or 72 h at 37 °C before all experiments.

Constructs and Transfection of CAS and Cortactin

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Constructs for WT CAS (wild type Crk-associated substrate) and CAS-SD (nonphosphorylatable Crk-associated substrate mutant) have been previously described [21 (link), 35 (link)]. Constructs for WT cortactin (wild type cortactin) and NP cortactin (nonphosphorylatable cortactin mutant) have been previously described [26 (link)]. Cell transfection was performed by using the FuGENE HD transfection reagent kit (Promega) according to the manual of the manufacture.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
