Potassium hexacyanoferrate 2 and 3

Manufactured by Merck Group
Sourced in United States, Germany

Potassium hexacyanoferrate (II and III) are inorganic compounds that are commonly used in laboratory settings. The potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) compound has the chemical formula K4[Fe(CN)6], while the potassium hexacyanoferrate(III) compound has the chemical formula K3[Fe(CN)6]. These compounds are typically used as analytical reagents, oxidizing agents, and as precursors for the synthesis of other compounds.

CoCl2·5H2O, 2-methylimidazole, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP, MW = 40,000 Da), disodium phosphate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, sodium nitrite, potassium hexacyanoferrate (II and III), Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA), Phosphate buffered saline (PBS), N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS), 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) carbodiimide (EDC), 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid 95% (MUA), and Cardiac troponin I were purchased from Sigma Aldrich (USA). All the reagents were of analytical grade and used without further purification. Ultrapure deionized water (DI) was supplied by a laboratory water purification system (~18.2 MΩ cm).

Chemicals, including sodium phosphate dibasic, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium acetate, hydrocortisone, o-phenylenediamine, phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, 10X, pH 7.4), acetic acid (99.7%), sodium hydroxide solution (50%), cortisone, corticosterone, progesterone, triamcinolone acetonide, potassium hexacyanoferrate (II) and (III), and potassium chloride were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Darmstadt, Germany). Ethyl alcohol (99.9%), mEthyl alcohol (99.8%), and sulfuric acid (98%) were purchased from Daejung Chemicals (Siheung-si, Republic of Korea). In the present study, we used ultrapure distilled water with a resistivity of 18.2 MΩ·cm. The screen-printed carbon electrodes (SPCEs) were obtained from DropSens (DRP-C110, DropSens, Oviedo, Spain).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
