Control igg

Manufactured by Diagenode

Control IgG is a laboratory reagent used as a control in various immunological assays. It is a purified immunoglobulin G (IgG) from a non-immune source, typically a non-human species, that serves as a negative control to help establish a baseline or reference point for experimental measurements.

Chromatin Profiling of JQ1 Responses

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
LN-2683GS cells were treated with 1 µM JQ1, DMSO, and 1000 units/mL IFN-α for 2 hours. U87MG were treated with 1 µM JQ1 or DMSO for 24 hours. Cells were cross-linked and ChIP was performed using iDeal ChIP-seq kit for Transcription Factors (Diagenode) as detailed in the Supplementary Methods, using the following antibodies: anti-Pol II (Cell Signaling, D8L4Y, 1:50), anti-BRD4 (Bethyl Laboratories, A301, 1:60), anti-H3K4me3 (Diagenode, C15410003, 1:300), anti-H3K27ac (Abcam, ab4729, 1:300 or 1:600), control IgG (1:600, Diagenode).

Assessing H3K27me3 Chromatin Modifications

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
We fixed 5 × 10 5 PBMCs in 1% formaldehyde for 10 min. Chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) was performed using the LowCell# ChIP kit (Diagenode, Liège, Belgium) using chromatin from 3,000 to 8,000 cells per reaction. For the immunoprecipitation, an antibody against H3K27me3 (9756; Cell Signaling Technology, Danvers, Mass., USA) was used. Control IgG was supplied by Diagenode. The ChIP was evaluated by qPCR using 'platinum SYBR Green qPCRSuperMix-UDG' (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, Calif., USA). Results were normalized to 1%.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
