Keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) was purchased from Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd. (Osaka, Japan). Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) were obtained from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH (Ingelheim, Germany). The other reagents and solvents were all of the highest commercially available grade.
