Tim trio and verio

Manufactured by Siemens
Sourced in Germany

The TIM Trio and Verio are lab equipment products from Siemens. The TIM Trio is a thermal imaging camera designed for industrial and scientific applications. The Verio is a compact X-ray diffractometer used for materials analysis. Both products are designed to provide accurate and reliable data for their respective applications.

Multi-Joint MRI Imaging Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
A total of 144 joint MRI investigations of the 37 patients recruited from the centres in Malmö and Gothenburg were performed at the Skåne University Hospital in Malmö, and 44 joint MRI of the 11 patients recruited from the centre in Stockholm were performed at the Karolinska University Hospital. Imaging, at both sites, was made with 3T scanners (TIM Trio and Verio, Siemens Healthineers, Erlangen, Germany), using a 15‐chanel, transmit/receive knee coil (QED, Mayfield Village, OH, USA). The knee coil was used also for imaging of the ankles. A uniform sequence protocol including four sequences for each knee and three sequences for each ankle was used. The acquisition time for all four joints was 31 min. 54 sec., and the total magnet time for a full procedure including patient positioning and slice planning was approximately 1 hr 10 min. All sequences used 3 mm slice thickness with .6 mm gap; other sequence specifications were:

MPRAGE T1W Brain Imaging Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Based on the PPMI database imaging protocols, whole-brain structural T1WI of these participants performed at various sites on a 3.0 T Siemens (TIM Trio and Verio) scanner (Erkangen, Germany) was used for further analysis in this study. For each participant, MPRAGE T1W images were acquired with the following parameters: repetition time (TR) = 2300 ms, echo time (TE) = 2.98 ms, field of view (FOV) = 240 mm × 256 mm, flip angle (FA) = 9°, and voxel size = 1 × 1 × 1 mm3. The details of the data acquisition parameters are available on the PPMI website (http://www.ppmi-info.org/study-design/ research-documents-and-sops/).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
