Anti β actin polyclonal antibody

Manufactured by Proteintech
Sourced in United States

The anti-β-actin polyclonal antibody is a protein detection tool used in various laboratory techniques. It specifically binds to the β-actin protein, a ubiquitous and highly conserved cytoskeletal protein found in eukaryotic cells. This antibody can be used to detect and quantify the expression levels of β-actin in biological samples.

Western Blot Analysis of Cochlear VEGFA

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Loxl3f/f and Col2a1–Loxl3–/– mice were sacrificed via cervical dislocation, and their cochleae were dissected. Cochleae proteins were incubated in cell lysis buffer (P0013, Beyotime) and extracted using a homogenizer. Western blot analyses were performed as described previously (Hou et al., 2014 (link)). The following primary antibodies were used: anti-VEGFA polyclonal antibody (rabbit, 1:400, ABclonal) and anti-β-actin polyclonal antibody (rabbit, 1:3,000, Proteintech). All data are presented as mean ± standard error of the mean, and data analyses were performed using the Image J software. Student’s t test was used for single-factor experiments involving two groups. The significance level was set to p < 0.05 for all statistical analyses.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
