Live/Dead Biofilm Viability Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The two strains were cultured on LB medium overnight and inoculated in 35-mm confocal dishes (Solarbio, Beijing, China). The plates were incubated at 37 °C for 24 h and stained with a Filmtracer LIVE/DEAD Biofilm Viability Kit (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA) in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Three image stacks were obtained from each sample randomly by CLSM using a Leica TCS SP8 microscope with a Lecia TCS SP8 CSU imaging system. All the experiments were carried out in triplicate.

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The three strains were cultured on MH agar plates overnight and inoculated in 35‐mm confocal dishes (Solarbio, Beijing, China). The plates were incubated at 37°C for 24 hr and stained with a Filmtracer LIVE/DEAD Biofilm Viability Kit (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA) in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Three image stacks were obtained from each sample randomly by CLSM using a Leica TCS SP2 microscope with a Lecia TCS SP2/AOBS imaging system.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
