Reflotron gpt alt tests

Manufactured by Roche
Sourced in Germany

The Reflotron® GPT/ALT tests are quantitative in vitro diagnostic tests used for the determination of alanine aminotransferase (GPT/ALT) levels in human whole blood, plasma, or serum samples. The tests are designed for use with the Reflotron® Plus or Reflotron® Sprint systems.

Quantitative Serological and Molecular HBV Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
HBeAg, HBsAg and anti-HBs were quantified using the Architect™ platform (Abbott Laboratories, Wiesbaden, Germany), anti-HBc using Enzygnost® Anti-HBc monoclonal test (Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Erlangen, Germany). Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity was determined after 1:4 dilution in PBS by Reflotron® GPT/ALT tests (Roche Diagnostics, Mannheim, Germany).
DNA was extracted from 50 μl mouse serum using the QIAamp MinElute Virus Spin Kit (Qiagen, Hilden, Germany) or 20 mg of liver tissue using a NucleoSpin Tissue DNA Kit (Macherey-Nagel, Dueren, Germany) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The quantification of HBV-DNA was performed through real-time PCR with SYBR green as previously described.22

Quantitative Hepatitis B Serology

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
HBsAg and HBeAg titers were quantified in serum samples diluted 1:15 or 1:20 with phosphate buffered saline (PBS) on an ArchitectTM platform using the quantitative HBsAg test (Ref.: 6C36-44) and the HBeAg reagent kit (Ref.: 6C32-27) with HBeAg quantitative calibrators (Ref.: 7P24-01) (all: Abbott Laboratories, Wiesbaden, Germany). Anti-HBs and anti-HBe antibodies were determined using anti-HBs (Ref.: 7C18-27) or anti-HBe (Ref.: 6C34-25) tests for an ArchitectTM platform (Abbott Laboratories, Wiesbaden, Germany). ALT activity was measured in serum samples diluted 1:4 with PBS using Reflotron GPT/ALT tests (Roche Diagnostics, Mannheim, Germany).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
