The data of this study were analyzed by using SPSS WIN 21.0. The general characteristics of the study subjects were analyzed by descriptive statistics. Pearson's correlation was used to analyze the correlation between general characteristics of people with physical disabilities, self‐esteem, self‐efficacy, the degree of disability acceptance, and social participation. Finally, a multiple linear regression analysis was performed to examine the effect of each variable on social participation. Statistical significance was determined at alpha = .05.
