Cyproterone acetate

Manufactured by Bayer
Sourced in Netherlands, China

Cyproterone acetate is a synthetic steroid compound commonly used in pharmaceutical applications. It functions as an antiandrogen, inhibiting the effects of androgens in the body. The core function of cyproterone acetate is to block the activity of male hormones, such as testosterone. This property makes it a useful compound in the development of various medical treatments.

Informed Consent and IVM/IVF Initiation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Potentially eligible women will be informed about the trial during their first consultation. If a woman wants to participate, written informed consent will be acquired in their next scheduled visit. To initiate the IVM or IVF treatment cycle in anovulatory cases, patients were administrated oral dydrogesterone (Duphaston, Abbott, OLST, Netherlands) 20 mg daily for 10–14 days/oral contraceptives Diane-35 (cyproterone acetate 2 mg, ethinylestradiol 35 mg, Bayer and its generics) for 21 days. After the withdrawal bleeding, eligible participants will be assessed again for the exclusion criteria on day 2 or day 3 following the onset of menstrual bleeding.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
