Wound-Healing Assay for Cell Migration

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cell migration was measured by wound-healing assay by the IncuCyte HD system (IncuCyte ZOOM, Essen BioScience, USA). Cells were seeded in 96-well plates at the density of 6×104 cells per well. Wound was made through confluent monolayer cells with a pin block and cells were washed with 1×PBS, cultured in DMEM medium with 10% fetal bovine serum. Photographs of cells were imaged using the IncuCyte HD system at 4-hour intervals from 2 separate regions per well using a 10x objective. Values from 2 regions of each well were pooled and averaged across all 3 replicates.

Scratch Wound Migration Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Scratch wounding migration assay was detected by the IncuCyte HD system (IncuCyte ZOOM, Essen BioScience, USA). NCI-N87 and AGS cells were grown in 96-well culture plates until the formation of a monolayer. Cell layers were scraped with a pin block and then incubated at 37°C. Photographs were captured at set time points by IncuCyte HD system. The migration distance was measured at each time point in 3 independent samples.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
