A starting bacterial suspension with a concentration of 0.5 McFarland was prepared for the target bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus ATCC33591, Escherichia coli ATCC25922 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC27853 (Iranian Biological Resource Center, Iran). The bacteria were streaked on Mueller‐Hinton agar culture medium, and wells were created on the culture plates. Mueller‐Hinton medium (100 μL) was poured into each well, and then 0.005 g of the test sample were added. The plates were then placed in an incubator at 37°C for 24 h, and finally, after the incubation period, the formation of growth inhibition zones on the plates was examined.

PVA, Mw: 85000–124000 g/mol, PCL, Mw: ~ 80000 g/mol and 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2- yl)2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (USA). GA, dimethylformamide (DMF, 99.80%), chloroform (99.00–99.40%), silver nitrate (99.80%), ferrous chloride tetrahydrate (FeCl2.4H2O), ferric chloride heptahydrate (FeCl3.7H2O), oleic acid, and ammonia solution (32%) were supplied from Merck (Germany). All chemicals and solvents were of analytical grade and used without any further purification. Staphylococcus aureus (IBRC-M 10917) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 27853) were obtained from the Iranian Biological Resource Center (IBRC) and the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC), respectively. Mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEF) cells (RSCB0182) were obtained from the Royan Institute (Iran) for Stem Cell Biology and Technology.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
