Hordenine, vincamine, tryptamine, cinchonine, and colcemid were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich Chemical Co. Bengaluru, India (now Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany). Human adenocarcinoma alveolar basal epithelial cells (A549), lung metastatic cell line (H1299), and human embryonic kidney cells (HEK293) were obtained from the National Centre for Cell Sciences, Pune, India.
