Total protein was extracted and the target protein was detected as described previously.³³ For immunoprecipitation (IP), the lysate was precleared by protein A/G‐agarose, and IP was carried out by incubating the supernatants with antibodies against NCAPH or β‐catenin and protein A/G‐agarose overnight at 4°C. After centrifugation, the complexes were washed and resuspended. The targeting proteins were detected by Western blotting. Rabbit IgG isotype was used as a negative control.
