Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) was measured using a BioMajesty® JCA-BM6010 (JEOL Ltd., Tokyo, Japan) according to the manufacturer's instructions. Blood sugar (BS), serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), creatinine (Cr), uric acid (UA), and serum amylase (AMY) levels were measured using a BioMajesty® JCA-BM6050 (JEOL Ltd.) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
