Milliplex map mouse adipokine magnetic bead panel

Manufactured by Merck Group
Sourced in United States

The MILLIPLEX MAP Mouse Adipokine Magnetic Bead Panel is a multiplex assay kit designed for the simultaneous quantitative measurement of multiple adipokines in mouse samples using the Luminex technology. The panel includes magnetic beads coated with specific capture antibodies for each target analyte, allowing for the detection and quantification of various adipokines in a single experiment.

Measurement of Metabolic Biomarkers in Mice

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Collected serum samples were sent to Hematology & Biochemistry Clinical Laboratory, Veterinary Laboratory Service Unit, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University Putra Malaysia, for measurement of fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides, aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) using Dimension Xpand Plus clinical chemistry system (SIEMENS Healthcare Diagnostics Inc.).
Levels of different adipokines (TNF-α, monocyte chemotactic protein 1 (MCP-1), leptin, insulin, interleukin-6 (IL-6) and resistin) in mouse sera were measured using the MILLIPLEX MAP Mouse Adipokine Magnetic Bead Panel (Millipore, Billerica, MA). Serum adiponectin level was measured by commercially available mouse adiponectin ELISA kit, (Millipore, Billerica, MA) according to manufacturer’s protocol.

Serum Analysis of Insulin, Adipokines

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
To analyze serum, we conducted insulin ELISA (Morinaga), GLP-1 (Active) ELISA (Shibayagi), GIP ELISA (Millipore), and adiponectin ELISA (Otsuka). To detect adipokines, namely, leptin, tissue plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (tPAI-1), resistin, and MCP-1, a MILLIPLEX MAP Mouse Adipokine Magnetic Bead Panel (Millipore) was used.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
