Sequoia 512 scanner

Manufactured by Siemens

The Sequoia 512 is a high-resolution scanner designed for laboratory applications. It features a scanning area of 512 x 512 mm and can capture images with resolutions up to 4800 dpi. The scanner utilizes advanced optics and sensor technology to deliver high-quality scans with accurate color reproduction. The Sequoia 512 is suitable for a variety of laboratory tasks, including document scanning, slide digitization, and small-format artwork capture.

Standardized Lower Limb Ultrasound Examination

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The lower limb ultrasonographic examinations were conducted according to the standard protocols which were well performed in our previous studies [22 (link)–24 (link)]. Briefly, after the patients remained in the supine position for 5 min, the 5-13-MHz linear array transducer was successively placed on seven locations of bilateral lower limb arteries including common femoral artery, profunda femoris artery, superficial femoral artery, popliteal artery, anterior tibial artery, posterior tibial artery, and peroneal artery to measure and record atherosclerotic plaque and stenosis using an Acuson Sequoia 512 scanner [23 (link), 24 (link)].

Coronary Angiography and LVEF Assessment

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
All patients underwent coronary angiography or CTA to make a definitive diagnosis, and the culprit vessels were treated by oral medications, percutaneous coronary intervention, or coronary artery bypass graft (1 (link), 12 (link)). The echocardiography was performed by experienced ultrasonographers, and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was recorded via an Acuson Sequoia 512 scanner with a probe of 5-13-MHz following a standard protocol. The data regarding Killip class, revascularization (percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary artery bypass graft), medications at discharge, and in-hospital deaths were obtained from their discharge summaries. After the discharge from hospital, a regular clinical follow-up was conducted through telephone or office visits annually.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
