Tet (sc-201492; Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Dallas, TX, USA) was dissolved in a drop of 0.1 mM HCl, then neutralized with NaHCO3 to pH 7.4, and diluted with PBS to achieve a concentration of 10 mM for storage. For in vivo studies, Tet was suspended in 0.9% (w/v) NaCl to 12 g/l.
