Fitc conjugated ct b

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

FITC-conjugated CT-B is a fluorescently labeled version of the cholera toxin subunit B, which is commonly used as a retrograde neuronal tracer. The FITC (fluorescein isothiocyanate) dye is conjugated to the CT-B protein, allowing for visualization of neuronal pathways and connections.

CT-B Internalization in hTERT-RPE1 Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
hTERT-RPE1 cells grown on cover slips were washed with ice-cold culture media, then incubated with FITC-conjugated CT-B (Molecular Probes) at 4 °C for 30 min. After washing with warm culture media, cells were placed at 37 °C for 1 h to permit CT-B internalization (56 (link)). Cells were then fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and immunostained.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
