Methanol, hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol, acetonitrile, (−)-nicotine (NIC), methyllycaconitine (MLA) citrate salt hydrate, mecamylamine (MEC) hydrochloride, nomifensine, (−)-lobeline hydrochloride, and 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) were purchased from Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA).
