The Molt-4 is a laboratory equipment used for cell culture and cell-based assays. It provides a controlled environment for the growth and maintenance of Molt-4 cells, a human T-cell leukemia cell line. The Molt-4 equipment ensures the proper temperature, humidity, and gas composition required for the optimal growth and proliferation of these cells.

3D Culture of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The human acute T-lymphoblastic leukemia cell lines CCRF-CEM (CEM) and MOLT4 were purchased from JCRB Cell Bank (Osaka, Japan, CEM:JCRB0033, MOLT-4:JCRB9031) in 2015. The cells were cultured in RPMI-1640 medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum at 37 °C under 5% CO2 in a humidified atmosphere.
Spheroid (3D) cell culture was performed with Col-Tgel (101 Bio, CA) following manufacture protocol. In brief, 2 × 106 cells/100 μL were seeded in soft medium into 48-well plates. The cells were placed in a standard CO2 cell culture incubator (37 °C, 5% CO2).

Culture of Leukemia Cell Lines

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Human leukemia cell lines U937, Molt-4, and Jurkat cells were obtained from the Japanese Collection of Research Bioresources (JCRB) Cell Bank. Cells were cultured in RPMI 1640 medium supplemented with 10% heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum (FBS) (JRH Biosciences, Corston, UK) at 37.0°C in humidified air with 5% CO2. Viability of untreated control cells was over 95% in all experiments.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
