The cells were plated at a density of ~1×105 viable cells/well in 6-well plates. Cells were harvested following treatment with 20 µM Adpa-Mn for 6, 12 and 24 h and were assayed for ATP using a chemical luciferase ATP assay kit (Beyotime Institute of Biotechnology). The quantity of ATP in the experimental samples was calculated from a standard curve prepared with ATP, and was expressed as nmol/mg protein.
