Lipid peroxidation in cells was tested using BODIPY 581/591 C11 Lipid Peroxidation Sensor (D3861; Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA). Cells were treated with ART (70 μM) in the presence or absence of DFO (100 μM), CQ (25 μM), and DBeQ (5 ‍μM) for 24 h as mentioned above and stained with BODIPY 581/591 C11 in Hanks’ Balanced Salt Solution (HBSS; Wako) at 37°C for 30 min. Cells were washed with HBSS and then imaged. The regions of interest were selected by setting thresholds with the default program for dark background in ImageJ.‍(17 (link))

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
