Pharmacological Modulation of Stress-Induced Behaviors
All drugs were dissolved in saline and diluted to desired concentration on the day of testing except Resveratrol that was dissolved in 0.5% sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC-Na). Resveratrol was administered by gavage (i.g.) at doses of 10, 20 and 40 mg/kg with a volume of 5 ml/kg body weight, 50 min before CACS procedure. fluoxetine (10 mg/kg), diazepam (1 mg/kg), 8-OH-DPAT (0.5 mg/kg) and NAN-190 hydrobromide (0.1 mg/kg) were injected intraperitoneally (i.p.) in a volume of 1 ml/kg. fluoxetine and diazepam were administered 30 min before CACS procedure. For co-administered with Resveratrol, the 5-HT1A receptor agonist and antagonist (8-OH-DPAT and NAN-190) were injected 15 min before Resveratrol administration. All the behavioral tests started 24 h after last drug treatment (

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
