Malondialdehyde mda and superoxide dismutase sod assay kits

UTI was obtained from Pharmacy Department of the Southeast Hospital affiliated to Xiamen University. Seawater was prepared according to the standard of the Third Institute of Oceanography of the State Ocean Bureau [18 (link)]. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits of TNF-α and IL-6 as well as malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) assay kits were purchased from Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute (Nanjing, Jiangsu, China). Nonradioactive electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) kit, bicinchoninic acid (BCA) protein assay reagent kit, and reactive oxygen species assay kit were purchased from Beyotime Institute of Biotechnology (Heimen, Jiangsu, China). The IκB-β antibody and anti-β-actin monoclonal antibodies were purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnology Inc. (Santa Cruz, CA, USA).

The levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (CRE), total protein (TP), and serum albumin (ALB), were detected using specific assay kits from Kehua Bio-engineering Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China). Malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) assay kits were purchased from Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute (Nanjing, China). Bovine serum albumin (BSA; 96–99% purity) was purchased from Boao Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China). Detection kits for immunoglobulins (IgA, IgM, and IgG) were purchased from EURO-DIAGNOSTICA (Amsterdam, Netherlands). Reagent kits for plasma prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), thrombin time (TT), and plasma fibrinogen (FIB), were obtained from SUNBIO Technology Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China). All other chemicals were of reagent grade.

A terminal deoxynucleotidyl-transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) apoptosis detection kit was purchased from Roche Diagnostics (Basel, Switzerland). Antibodies against B-cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2) and Bcl-2-associated X protein (Bax) for immunohistochemistry (IHC) were purchased from Cell Signaling Technology, Inc. (Beverly, MA, USA). Malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) assay kits were purchased from Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute (Nanjing, China). Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) radioimmunoassay kits were purchased from Beijing Kangyuan Ruide Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China). The G-Rb3 was obtained from Dr Yanping Chen (Department of Natural Medicinal Chemistry, School of Chemistry, Jilin University, Changchun, China) and dissolved in double-distilled (dd)H₂O for use. All other chemicals were analytical reagents.

Hyp (purity > 99%) was obtained from Chengdu Must Biotechnology Co. Ltd. (Chengdu, China; Lot# MUST-18100910). As a BK channels-specific blocker, iberiotoxin (IbTX) was purchased from TOCRIs Bioscience (Bristol, UK). Malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) assay kits were obtained from Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute (Nanjing, China). Radioimmunoprecipitation (RIPA) lysis buffer and BCA Protein Quantitation Kit were acquired from the Beyotime Institute of Biotechnology (Shanghai, China). The monovalent anionic voltage-sensitive dye named bis-1,3-dibutylbarbituric acid-trimethine oxonol (DiBaC4(3)) was obtained from Abcam Trading Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China). Primary antibodies against BK α-subunit (catalog no. ab192759) and BK β1-subunit (catalog no. ab3587) were obtained from Abcam (Cambridge, UK). Antibodies against α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) (catalog no. 67735-1-Ig) and β-actin (catalog no. 66009-1-Ig) were purchased from Proteintech Group (Wuhan, China). Relative secondary antibodies were purchased from Zhongshan Golden Bridge Biotechnology (Beijing, China). All the other chemical reagents, except special instructions, were from Sigma–Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA).
