Anti cd4 and anti cd8 macs beads

Manufactured by Miltenyi Biotec
Sourced in United States

Anti-CD4 and anti-CD8 MACS beads are magnetic beads coated with antibodies specific to the CD4 and CD8 surface markers, respectively. These beads are used for the isolation and purification of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells from cell samples.

Purification and Transfer of T Cell Subsets

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
CD45.1+ CD4+ and CD45.1+ CD8+ T cells were purified from the spleens of naïve B6.CD45.1+ mice by positive selection with anti-CD4 and anti-CD8 MACS beads (Miltenyi Biotec). CD4+Foxp3+CD25hi, CD4+Foxp3+CD25lo and CD4+Foxp3 T cells were sorted from spleens of Foxp3-DTR/GFP mice using a FACSAria (BD Biosciences) after positive selection with anti-CD4 MACS beads. Sorted cells (5 × 105) were transferred intravenously into naïve Tcrb−/−Tcrd−/− recipient mice. All sorted T-cell subsets were more than 95% pure.

Isolation and Purification of DN Thymocyte Subsets

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
CD4CD8 DN thymocytes were negatively selected with anti-CD4 and anti-CD8 MACS beads according to the protocol of the manufacturer (Miltenyi Biotec, Auburn, CA, United States). After staining with antibodies against lineage (Lin) markers B220, CD19, CD11b, Gr1, CD11c, NK1.1, Ter119, CD3ε, CD8α, CD8β, TCRβ, and TCRγδ (BD Pharmingen), DN2 thymocytes (c-KithiCD25hiLin) were purified based on staining with anti-c-Kit and anti-CD25 antibodies (BD Pharmingen) by cell sorting on FACSAria (BD Biosciences) and analyzed on the LSR-II (BD Biosciences). DN3a (c-Kit–/loCD25hiLinCD27lo) cells were purified by sorting after staining with anti-CD27 antibody (eBioscience, San Diego, CA, United States).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
