Pierce formic acid

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific
Sourced in United Kingdom

Pierce™ formic acid is a laboratory reagent that is used in a variety of analytical and purification techniques. It is a clear, colorless liquid with a pungent odor. Formic acid is a weak carboxylic acid that is commonly used as a mobile phase component in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and other chromatographic techniques. It is also used in sample preparation and protein modification applications.

AZD6610, AZ12756783, AZ10277797, and AZ13533012 (Barlind et al., 2013) , were supplied by Compound Management, AstraZeneca R&D. Felodipine, dextromethorphan, celecoxib, clozapine and metoprolol were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Saint Louis, Missouri, USA) along with NADP + , glucose-6-phosphate and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
Methanol (MeOH), acetonitrile optima (ACN), LC/MS grade and Pierce™ formic acid, were obtained from ThermoFisher Scientific (Loughborough, UK). Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) was obtained from Sigma-Aldrich (Saint Louis, Missouri, USA). Ultra-pure water was prepared by an in-house water purification system (Milli-Q, Elix® technology Inside, Merck, Darmstadt, Germany). All other chemicals and solvents were of the highest quality commercially available.
Plates used in the incubations were Greiner 96-well microplates, Greiner 384-well microplates from Sigma Aldrich (Saint Louis, Missouri, USA) and Nunc 96-well microplates from ThermoFisher Scientific (Loughborough, UK).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
