Fourteen reference compounds for UPLC-DAD/Q-TOF MS analysis were isolated from okra seeds by our research group. Their structures were identified by 13C NMR, 1H NMR and HR-MS, and the purities determined with HPLC method were all over 95%. Their structures were shown in ESI 1.
Malondialdehyde mda
Malondialdehyde (MDA) is a commonly used biomarker for oxidative stress. It is a reactive aldehyde produced as a byproduct of polyunsaturated fatty acid peroxidation. MDA can be quantified in various biological samples to assess the level of oxidative damage.

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
