Trichostatin A, tubacin and nocodazole were from Sigma Aldrich, PTL from Eurodiagnostico, LRRK2-IN1, TAE684 and CZC25146 from the Michael J. Fox Foundation, GSK2578215A from Tocris, compound 68 (ID 9108605) and compound 70 (ID 9119202) from Chembridge Corporation (San Diego, USA), and GNE-0877 and GNE-7915 from MedchemExpress (USA), and MLi2 from MRC PPU, Dundee, UK. Differentiation of Dopamine and Sensory Neurons

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
EZ spheres were differentiated into dopamine neurons using FGF-8, purmorphamine, and growth factors as previously described (Ebert et al., 2013 ). Induction of sensory neurons was accomplished using an established protocol (Chambers et al., 2012 (link)). For kinase inhibition experiments, 1 μM LRRK2-IN-1, 1 μM GSK2578215A, and 200 nM CZC25146 (kindly provided by Sabine Hilfiker but commercially available through Tocris and Sigma) was added at the 2-week time point and freshly supplemented every feeding for a total of 2 weeks. DMSO (1 μM and 200 nM) was used as the vehicle control.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
