Synthesis of GeXIVA[1,2] performed as previously described [24 (link)]. Trehalose was in injection-grade and purchased from Hayashibara Co., Ltd. (Okayama, Japan). Injection-grade glucose, mannitol, sorbitol, and glycine were purchased from Beijing Fengli Jingqiu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China). Polyethylene glycol 2000 (PEG 2000) was purchased from BASF (Ludwigshafen, Germany). Paclitaxel was provided by Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Taizhou, China). HPLC-grade triethylamine and acetonitrile were obtained from Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA, USA). The purified water used in this study was prepared using a Mille-Q system (EMD Millipore, Billerica, MA, USA).

MLX (with a purity of up to 99.8%) was purchased from JiangSu Feima Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (Jiangsu, China). Polyvinylpyrrolidone-k17 (PVP-k17) was gifted by Beijing Fengli Jingqiu Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (Beijing, China). Piroxicam was obtained from Beijing Xian Dai Dong Fang Technological Development Co. Ltd. (Beijing. China). Fetal bovine serum (FBS), streptomycin, penicillin, Hank’s balanced salt solution (HBSS), and phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) were obtained from Beijing Rongxia Biotechnology Co. Ltd. (Beijing, China). HPLC-grade triethylamine and acetonitrile were obtained from Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA, USA). Isopropanol and ethyl acetate were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co. Ltd. (Shanghai, China).

GeXIVA[1,2] API was provided by Gill Biochemical Co., Ltd. (Shanghai). PLGA 75/25 was purchased from EVONIK. Trehalose was injection-grade and was purchased from Hayashihara Co., Ltd. (Okayama, Japan). Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) was purchased from Kuraray co., ltd. HPLC-grade triethylamine and acetonitrile were obtained from Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA, USA). The purified water used in this study was prepared using a Mille-Q system (EMD Millipore, Billerica, MA, USA). All other reagents were of analytical grade and were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd.
