Time-lapse images were captured using Axio-Observer Z1 microscopy (Zeiss) under incubating in PeCon microscopy incubator (PeCon GmbH) at 37°C and 5% CO2. The cell images were captured with 10 × objective in every 20 min for about 1.5 days to monitor cellular morphological change event.

Quantitative Fluorescence Imaging Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Fluorescence images were acquired using Zeiss Axio Observer Z1 microscopy and AxioVision and Zeiss LSM 510 meta-NLO inverted confocal microscopy and Zen software. Images were acquired using identical parameters and quantified for fluorescence intensity. The fluorescence intensity was measured by using IPLab (Scanalytics). The ratio of fluorescence intensity of measured markers was normalized to total vasculature present using the molecular marker CD31 or ColIV. Image processing was performed to optimize intensity and color mixes visualization using Adobe Photoshop (Adobe Systems).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
