Multiplexed Neurodegenerative Biomarker Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Human Simoa Neurology 3-Plex A (N3PA) Advantage kit was carried out to evaluate levels of total-tau, amyloid-β40, and amyloid-β42, while Simoa p-tau181 Advantage kit was used to measure p-tau181 (Quanterix, Billerica, MA, USA). Each sample was measured in duplicate and two control samples added to each plate were used for each analyte. All measurements were performed at Quanterix on a single molecule assay (Simoa) biomarkers detection system.

Plasma Biomarkers for Neurodegeneration

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
40, Aβ42, glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), Nf-L, and P-Tau181 were measured in EDTA plasma using the respective commercially available kits; Neurology 4-Plex E and P-Tau181 (Quanterix©, Billerica, MA, USA) by Single Molecule Array (SIMOA®) HD-X Analyzer. The analyses were performed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. In addition, the manufacturer’s commercial controls were applied for quality control.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
