R statistical software version 3.6.3

Manufactured by IBM

R is an open-source software environment for statistical computing and graphics. Version 3.6.3 provides a wide variety of statistical and graphical techniques, including linear and nonlinear modeling, classical statistical tests, time-series analysis, classification, clustering, and others. R is widely used in academic and research communities.

Analyzing WDR76 Expression Impact

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The patients were divided into two groups according to the median expression of WDR76. The measurement data was statistically analyzed with t test or Mann–Whitney U test according to the data distribution. As for the numeration data, chi-square test or corrected chi-square test or the Fisher’s exact test was used, depending on the actual situation. Multiple testing correction was performed by Bonferroni method when testing WDR76 and immune cell markers in GEPIA. Kaplan–Meier curve and log-rank test were performed to analyze the survival impact of WDR76 expression. Survival outcomes included overall survival (OS), disease specific survival (DSS) and progress free survival (PFS). Cox regression analysis was performed to verify the effect of WDR76 expression on survival outcomes. All the above analysis was conducted by R statistical software (version 3.6.3) and SPSS software (version 24.0). Statistical significance was set at P value < 0.05 (All P values presented were 2-sided).

Prognostic Value of TEDC2 in Survival

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The patients were divided into two groups according to the median expression of TEDC2. The measurement data were statistically analyzed with t test if normally distributed. Otherwise, Mann–Whitney U test was used. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate the potential diagnostic value of TEDC2. Overall survival (OS), disease specific survival (DSS) and progress free survival (PFS) analyses were performed by Kaplan–Meier curve and log-rank test. Univariate and multivariable analyses were conducted by the Cox proportional hazards regression models to determine the prognostic value of TEDC2 in survival outcomes. Multivariate regression model included the factors that P value was less than 0.1 in univariate analysis. R statistical software (version 3.6.3) and SPSS software (version 24.0) were used to perform the analyses in the study. Statistical significance was set at P value < 0.05 (All P values presented were 2-sided).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
