Mouse pro inflammatory 7 plex kit

Manufactured by Mesoscale
Sourced in United States

The Mouse Pro-inflammatory 7-Plex kit is a multiplex assay designed to measure the levels of seven pro-inflammatory cytokines in mouse samples. The kit allows for the simultaneous detection and quantification of these target analytes in a single well.

Assessing L. monocytogenes Pathogenesis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Mice were infected with 5 × 104 CFU wild type or 1 × 107 CFU ΔactA mutant Lm (in 200 μl of PBS) via intravenous injection in the lateral tail vein. Liver and spleen were collected at 72 h post infection. Organs were placed in 1 ml of sterile PBS and homogenized. A dilution series was plated on BHI plates, grown overnight at 37°C and individual bacterial colonies were enumerated.
For cytokine analysis, cell culture supernatants and tissue homogenates were centrifuged (12,000 rpm for 12′) and supernatants were collected and stored at −80°C. Cytokines were measured using the mouse 7-plex pro-inflammatory kit from Meso Scale Discovery, according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Quantitative Cytokine Profiling via Electrochemiluminescence

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Multi-Array technology by Meso Scale Diagnostics (Rockville, MD, USA) allows quantitative assessment of expression levels of proteins using electrochemiluminescence. To evaluate concentration of proinflammatory cytokines, a Mouse Proinflammatory 7-Plex kit (Meso Scale Diagnostics, Rockville, MD, USA) was used. Assay was performed in accordance to manufacturer’s manual. The plate was read using a Sector S 600 analyzer (Meso Scale Diagnostics, Rockville, MD, USA).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
