Monoclonal anti-dinitrophenyl antibody (DNP-IgE) and dinitrophenyl-labeled human serum albumin (DNP-HSA) were obtained from Sigma-Aldrich Co., St. Louis, MO, USA. All of the chemicals used were of the highest grade commercially available.

Synthesis of 6-sPalm-AA-2G Compound

2-O-α-d-Glucopyranosyl-6-O-hexadecanoyl-l-ascorbic acid (6-sPalm-AA-2G) was synthesized in our laboratory as described previously [11 (link)]. 6-O-Palmitoyl-l-ascorbic acid (6-Palm-AA), oxatomide, l-ascorbic acid 2-phosphate trisodium salt, and l-ascorbic acid 2-sulfate disodium salt dihydrate were purchased from FUJIFILM Wako Pure Chemical Corporation, Osaka, Japan. Monoclonal anti-dinitrophenyl antibody (DNP-IgE) and dinitrophenyl-labeled human serum albumin (DNP-HSA) were obtained from Sigma-Aldrich Co., St. Louis, MO, USA. All of the chemicals used were of the highest grade commercially available. NMR spectra were obtained on a Varian NMR System 600-MHz instrument. The values of the chemical shifts were expressed in ppm, and each coupling constant (J) was expressed in Hz. The electron spray ionization (ESI) high-resolution mass sptectra were recorded on a Bruker Daltonics (Bremen, Germany) MicrOTOF II instrument using direct sample injection.
