White-on-white SAP with SITA Standard

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The HFA-II 740 (Carl Zeiss Meditec, Jena, Germany) was used with a SITA (Swedish interactive threshold algorithm) Standard strategy and a 24-2 analyzer protocol. The HFA is a white-on-white SAP. It is considered to be the clinical standard.13 (link)

Diagnosis of Idiopathic Open-Angle Glaucoma

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The eye examinations included Goldmann applanation tonometry (Haag-Streit AG, Bern, Switzerland) and visual field testing (Humphrey Field Analyzer; HFA II 740; Carl Zeiss, Oberkochen, Germany). iOAG was defined as glaucomatous visual field loss in at least one eye with reproducibility of the defect, independent of IOP [26 (link)]. Other possible causes of visual field loss were excluded. iOAG cases had an open anterior chamber angle and no history or signs of secondary glaucoma [26 (link)]. For IOP, three measurements were taken from each eye, of which the median value was recorded. For iOAG cases, we used IOP measurements of the affected eye. If both eyes were affected or unaffected, a random eye was selected.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
