Resveratrol 3 4 5 trihydroxy trans stilbene
Resveratrol (3,4,5′-trihydroxy-trans-stilbene) is a naturally occurring polyphenol compound. It is a stilbenoid, a type of natural phenol, and is produced naturally by several plants in response to injury or when the plant is under attack by pathogens, such as bacteria or fungi.

Sodium [3-13 C]pyruvate and sodium [ 13 C]formate were purchased from Cambridge Isotope Laboratories Inc (Andover, MA). CACA (cis-4-aminocrotonic acid) and resveratrol (3,4′,5trihydroxy-trans-stilbene) were purchased from Sigma Aldrich (St Louis, MO) and TPMPA (1,5,6-tetrahydropyridin-4-yl)methylphosphinic acid) were purchased from Tocris Cookson, (UK). (±)-cis-(3-Aminocyclopentyl) (butyl)phosphinic acid (cis-ACPBPA) was synthesised as published previously (Hanrahan et al., 2006) , as was cis-2-(aminomethyl)-1carboxycyclopropane (±)-CAMP (Duke et al., 1998) and S-and R-4-amino-1-cyclopent-1-en-1-yl(butyl)phosphinic acids, (S-and R-4-ACPBPA) (Kumar et al., 2008) . All other reagents were of AR grade.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
