Total RNA was extracted from tissues and cells using TRIzol reagent (Invitrogen, USA) and then reverse transcribed using the GoScript™ Reverse Transcription System reverse transcription kit (Promega, USA). Real-time fluorescence qPCR was performed using the GoScript™ qPCR Master Mix kit (Promega, USA) according to the instructions. GAPDH was used as an internal reference, and the corresponding gene expression was calculated using the 2-ΔΔCT method. All primer sequences used for qRT-PCR were provided in Additional file 1 : Table S2. And all miRNA mimic/inhibitor sequences were in Additional file 1 : Table S3.
