Creatinine elisa kit

Manufactured by Abcam
Sourced in United States

The Creatinine ELISA Kit is a quantitative immunoassay designed for the measurement of creatinine levels in various biological samples. The kit utilizes the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique to determine the concentration of creatinine present in the sample.

Evaluating Renal Function and Antioxidants in Rats

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Samples from the rat’s blood were collected for serum separation. Serum samples were used to measure the levels of creatinine (Creatinine ELISA Kit, Catalog #: E4370, BioVision, Inc., USA), BUN (BUN ELISA Kit, Catalog #: MBS2611085, MyBioSource, USA), estrogen (Estrogen ELISA Kit, Catalog #: K4266, BioVision, Inc., USA) and progesterone (Progesterone ELISA Kit, Catalog #: K7416, BioVision, Inc., USA), this was performed by commercial kits and according to the kit’s recommendations. Moreover, kidney samples were collected immediately after sacrifice, washed twice in warm PBS, and then subjected to homogenization, as we previously reported [33 (link)]. The antioxidant markers evaluated in kidney tissue were the levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and catalase (CAT); their measurement was conducted using commercial kits and following the kit’s recommendations (Bio-diagnostics Co., Cairo, Egypt and BioVision, Inc., Milpitas, CA, USA).

Quantifying Kidney Tissue Biomarkers

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Kidney tissues were homogenized in RIPA lysis buffer (Thermo Scientific, Pittsburgh, PA, USA). All samples diluted tenfold were quantified using the NanoDrop 2000 (Thermo Scientific). Mouse AREG ELISA kits (R&D Systems) were used according to the manufacturer’s protocol. BUN and creatinine were analyzed using a BUN kit (ARBOR ASSAYS, Ann Arbor, MI, USA) and a creatinine ELISA kit (BioVision, Milpitas, CA, USA), respectively. All ELISA procedures were performed according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
