3 protocols using fluoxetine hydrochloride

1

Fluoxetine and Paroxetine Intraperitoneal Administration

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Fluoxetine hydrochloride and paroxetine hydrochloride were obtained from Toronto Research Chemicals (Toronto, Canada). Both fluoxetine and paroxetine were dissolved in a 50% dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)/water solution and injected interperitoneally (IP) at a volume of 1 ml/kg.

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Chemical solvents (methanol, acetonitrile, and DMSO) and MgCl2 were obtained from Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA). Millipore-Sigma (Burlington, MA) was the source for the following: meloxicam (substrate), glyoxal and methylglyoxal (metabolite standards), 7-hydroxycoumarin (internal standard), cytochrome P450 isozyme inhibitors (1-aminobenzotriazole, α-naphthoflavone, (+)-N-3-benzylnirvanol, ketoconazole, 4-methylpyrazole hydrochloride, montelukast sodium, quinidine, sulfaphenazole, ticlopidine hydrochloride, and tranylcypromine sulfate), and NADPH regenerating system (glucose-6 phosphate dehydrogenase, glucose 6-phosphate, and NADP disodium salt). Sudoxicam (substrate), 5’-hydroxymethyl 5’-desmethyl meloxicam (metabolite standard), fluoxetine hydrochloride (internal standard), and 1,2-diamino-4,5-methylenedioxybenzene dihydrochloride (labeling agent) were obtained from Toronto Research Chemicals (Toronto, ON, Canada). Human liver microsomes pooled from 150 donors (HLM150) and recombinant enzyme Supersomes CYP1A2, 2A6, 2B6, 2C8, 2C9, 2C19, 2D6, 2E1, 3A4 and control prepared from baculovirus-transfected insect cells were purchased from Corning Gentest (Corning, NY).

Chemical solvents methanol, acetonitrile, and DMSO were purchased from Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA). Meloxicam, glyoxal and methylglyoxal (metabolites), 7-hydroxycoumarin (internal standard) and 1-aminobenzotriazole (CYP inhibitor) were purchased from Millipore-Sigma (Burlington, MA). Sudoxicam, 5′-hydroxymethyl 5′-desmethyl Meloxicam (metabolite), fluoxetine hydrochloride (internal standard), 1,2-diamino-4,5-methylenedioxybenzene dihydrochloride (labeling agent), and dansyl glutathione (trapping agent) were obtained from Toronto Research Chemicals (Toronto, ON, Canada). Epoxide hydrolase inhibitor elaidamide was purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnology (Dallas, TX). About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
