Swainsonine s9263

Manufactured by Merck Group
Sourced in United States

Swainsonine (S9263) is a chemical compound that serves as a laboratory reagent. It is a glycosidase inhibitor and can be used for various research applications. The core function of Swainsonine is to inhibit specific glycosidase enzymes, which are involved in the processing and modification of carbohydrates. This inhibition can be useful in the study of cellular processes, glycoprotein synthesis, and other areas of biochemical research.

Immunohistochemical Analysis of CD147 and N-Glycans in HCC

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Antibody details are listed in the supplementary material, Table S1. Rabbit anti‐CD147 and α‐tubulin were developed in our laboratory 26. Formalin‐fixed, paraffin‐embedded tissues from HCC patients were stained with HAb18G antibody against CD147 (30 μg/ml) and PHA‐L (1:200) for β1,6‐branched N‐glycans as previously described 15. The PI3K inhibitor LY294002 was purchased from Cell Signaling Technology (Danvers, MA, USA). TGF‐β1 (100‐210) was purchased from PeproTech (Rocky Hill, NJ, USA) and swainsonine (s9263) from Sigma‐Aldrich (St Louis, MO, USA).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
