Polyamide resin

Chromatographic grade acetonitrile and methanol were purchased from Merck (Darmstadt, USA). (+) Catechin, (+) epicatechin, quercetin-3-O-rutinoside, quercetin-3-O-glucoside and vitexin-4″-O-glucoside were purchased from Sigma (St. Louis, MO, USA). Saponin standards of azukisaponin I, II, III, IV, V, and VI were isolated in our lab. Other chemicals, such as ethanol, methanol, and acetone were of analytical grade. Macro porous resins AB-8 were supplied by Nankai University. Polyamide resin was purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China).

Adzuki beans (Vigna angularis L.) were purchased from local market in Changchun, Jilin Province, and identified by Prof. Jinming Mu of Faculty of Agronomy in Jilin Agricultural University. Triolein, taurocholic acid sodium salt hydrate, N- [Tris (hydroxymethyl) methyl]- 2- aminopropanesulfonic acid (TES) buffer, phosphatidylcholine, porcine pancreatic lipase, α-glucosidase, and p-nitrophenyl-α-glucopyranoside were purchased from Sigma (St. Louis, MO, United States). Lipid assay kits for testing triglycerides (TG), total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), were purchased from Biosino Bio-technology and Science Inc. (Beijing, China). Other chemicals, such as sodium dihydrogen phosphate dehydrate, disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, were of analytical grade. Macroporous adsorptive resins AB-8 was supplied by Nankai University, and polyamide resin was purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China).

Dandelion (Taraxacum mongolicum Hand.-Mazz) samples were picked from Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia. The species was identified by Yuan Ke Yan (inspector of Hohhot Food and Drug Inspection and Testing Center). The experimental material was the whole crushed dandelion including leaf, stem and root. Other chemicals were purchased, which include: rutin standard (HPLC purity ≥ 98% Shanghai McLean Biochemical Technology Co., Ltd.), absolute ethanol (AR Sinopharm), acetic acid (AR Sinopharm), polyamide resin (14–30 mesh Sinopharm), acetone (AR Xilong), methanol (AR Xilong), DMSO-d6 (purity > 99.9%, Shanghai Aladdin Biochemical Technology Co., Ltd.).
