All chemicals were used without further purification unless otherwise specified. p-Phenylenediamine, 4-bromobenzonitrile, and tert-butyl 4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-1-carboxylate were supplied by Energy Chemical. Gold trichloride and tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium were bought from Sigma-Aldrich. 3,3′,5,5′-Azobenzene tetra carboxylic acid, trimesic acid, and terephthalic acid were purchased from Acmec. Sodium hydroxide, iron(III) chloride hexahydrate (97%), copper(II) nitrate trihydrate (99%), nickel(II) nitrate hexahydrate (99%), sodium nitrate (99%), magnesium(II) nitrate hexahydrate (99%), potassium nitrate, zinc(II) nitrate hexahydrate (99%), potassium carbonate, sodium carbonate, sodium sulfate, and all solvents were provided by Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co. Ltd. The Yangtze River water was collected in Nanjing, China (latitude: 32.156613, longitude: 118.800723). The East China Sea water was collected in Xiamen, China (latitude: 24.442217, longitude: 118.075667).

All reagents and solvents were commercially available, which were directly used without purification, unless otherwise indicated. Zinc(II) nitrate hexahydrate (Zn(NO3)2·6H2O) (99%), copper(II) nitrate trihydrate (Cu(NO3)2·3H2O) (99%), acetone (≥99.5%), isopropanol (≥99.7%), methanol (≥99.5%), ethanol (≥99.7%), triethylamine (TEA) (≥99.5%), toluene (≥99.5%), N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) (≥99.5%), ammonium hydroxide (NH3·H2O) (25–28%), and acetic acid (HAc) (≥99.8%) were purchased from Sinopharm. 1,3,5-Benzenetricarboxylic acid (H3BTC) (98%), styrene (99.5%), phenylacetylene (98%), and 2-methylimidazole (98%) were obtained from Energy Chemical.

98%) were purchased from Sinopharm chemical reagent Co., Ltd.; methane
(CH4, 15.0 vol % in N2) and oxygen (O2, 21.0 vol % in N2) were used for the catalytic performance
testing. All of the chemicals described above were used directly without
further treatment.
