Glycolysis Evaluation in Lung Cancer

Hexokinase-2 (HK2) is a key enzyme of the first step in glycolysis [22 (link)]. Here, we measured the glucose consumption, lactate production, and HK2 enzyme activity to evaluate the glycolysis process in lung cancer cells. The levels of glucose (ab65333; Abcam, Shanghai, China) and lactate (ab83429; Abcam) as well as the enzyme activity of HK2 (ab136957; Abcam) were analyzed using the corresponding kits according to the recommended instructions.
