Mice were anesthetized by intraperitoneal injection with Ketamine/Xylazine (100 mg/kg and 10 mg/kg) and bleomycin (2.5 units/kg) (Sigma-Aldrich, St Louis, MO) in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) or vehicle (PBS) alone was administered intratracheally (Sueblinvong et al., 2014a (link)). At 7 or 14 days after bleomycin injection, the lungs were harvested and processed for Western blot analysis.
