Indomethacin Modulation of Hematopoietic Stem Cells
Variable analysis
- Indomethacin (6 mg/l) administered in acidified drinking water for 7 days
- Poly(I:C) HMW (10 mg/kg, IP injection)
- G-CSF Recombinant Human Protein (0.25 mg/kg, IP injection)
- DmPGE2 (2 mg/kg, SC injection)
- Hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) responses
- Mouse strain (#016617) obtained from Jackson labs and bred in-house
- Male and female mice (8–10 weeks) from Jackson labs (strain CD 45.2 [Ly5.2], #00664)
- Mice kept for at least 1 week in the animal facility before initiating experiments
- Mice allocated at random (by cage) into experimental groups
- Indomethacin supplemented drinking water changed every other day
- Mice weighed before injection and injection volume adjusted to ensure equal dose between individual mice
- The 'control' condition from the external stimulant treatments was also used as the second independent biological replicate of unperturbed HSCs (HSC Replicate 2)

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
