Single nucleus RNA-seq of LepR-cre mice

All experiments were carried out in compliance with the Association for Assessment of Laboratory Animal Care policies and approved by the University of Virginia Animal Care and Use Committee. Animals were housed on a 12-h light/dark cycle with food (PicoLab Rodent Diet 5053) and water ad libitum unless otherwise indicated. For generation of the 10X single nucleus RNA-seq data (Figs 1–3, Extended data Figs 1–2), we used both male and female LepR-cre mice (B6.129-Lepr^tm3(cre)Mgmj/J, The Jackson Laboratory #032457, RRID:IMSR_JAX:032457) ^{95 (link)} crossed to Ai14 tdTomato reporter line (B6.Cg-Gt(ROSA)26Sor^{tm14(CAG-tdTomato)Hze}/J, Strain #007914, RRID:IMSR_JAX:007914) ^{96 (link)}.
